Peace Out

Aug 21, 2023

Five years.

That’s how long we’ve been rocking with each other. Can you believe it? Where does the time go?

Many of you have been with us since the very beginning. Our very first blog post, way back in 2018, happened to be a review on the classic album Daytona by the world’s greatest rapper Pusha T (you already know how much we love Push over here *shrug*). This masterpiece by the legendary emcee from Virginia inspired us so much with its precise lyrics and polished production that we just had to share how much this project impacted us.

And that, folks, was the introduction of BEINGSINOUTERSPACE (aka BIO) to the universe and the beginning of our journey.

BEINGSINOUTERSPACE granted us a space to express ourselves freely and creatively while sharing our views on all the various topics that inspire us, from entrepreneurship and personal development to music, fashion, community events, and social issues. We did our best to give you our honest opinions and share information with the community in hopes of bringing you value.

Over these past few years, there have been many successes and failures. And we have experienced a tremendous amount of growth. But this is all just a part of the process.

Some of our viewpoints have caused us to gain and lose supporters. There have been months that we made thousands off of merch sales and lost just as much the following month. We’ve had many sleepless nights caused by our dealings with manufacturers, upset customers, internet trolls, and doubts about having the testicular fortitude to turn a blog and side hustle into an actual brand.

All in all, we would not trade this experience for the world.

What started as a blog in 2018 eventually grew into a community and a lifestyle brand thanks to people like you reading our articles, purchasing our merch, and spreading the word with other beautiful beings. For this, we will forever be grateful.

We’re not sure where this journey will take us from here. What we do know is that after five years in the game, we feel fulfilled, complete, and accomplished. And, as cliche as it sounds, all good things must come to an end, including BIO.

All we ever wanted was for one person to read our blog, and we’ve had thousands read it.

All we ever wanted was for one person to buy and rock our merch, and we’ve had more people than we can count do just that.

At the end of the day, that’s all we can ask for from the BIO Crew.

Thanks again for supporting us these last five years. You’ve given us some of the best years of our lives. We love and appreciate you all.

See you at the top!

Peace out,
Bobby

Go After Your Dreams. No More Fu*king Excuses

We all have dreams, but we talked ourselves out of chasing them at some point. We’ve allowed the social construct of "FOMO" combined with the unsolicited play-it-safe advice from family, friends, and coworkers to influence us into believing we...

Kendrick Lamar is a composer, and his life is the score and his latest effort, the boisterous double-album “Mr. Morale and The Big Steppers,” is no different.
