Agenda Show Las Vegas 2019: 6 Things I’m Looking Forward To Experiencing

In less than 24 hours I’ll be on a flight from The Bay to Sin City. I’m one of the lucky few who will be attending the Agenda Show from February 5-7, 2019 in Las Vegas. It’ll be my first one, so to say I’m juiced is an understatement.
For those unfamiliar with the Agenda Show, it is a lifestyle fashion trade show displaying a diverse array of streetwear, skate, and surf brands. Created in 2003, Agenda is an event that mixes a passion for creativity and business in an authentic environment. It’s all about showcasing the industry, from those who are just starting out to our favorite legendary brands.
In addition to designers, the event brings the media, distributors, and buyers from around the globe into one centralized location.

The Agenda Show Floor from 2018
Since this will be my first experience with such an incredible event, I’ve decided to create a 6Piece with things I’m looking forward to checking out.
Let’s get into it!
1 – The Agenda Show Event
Let’s be honest. Just being able to have the opportunity to attend this event is at the top of my list. Three full days of not only checking out every brand imaginable but also meeting and connecting with folks representing all aspects of the street culture & fashion industry.
This is a treat in itself.
2 – Forever Brands
Being able to check out the latest from brands that I have grown up rocking since a young buck first introduced to fashion is something I’m looking forward to.
In attendance at Agenda will be legendary brands like of Fila, Karl Kani, and Mitchell & Ness who have all inspired me to create my own streetwear line. Having the chance to check out how they have evolved over the years without losing their original aesthetic will be interesting to see.
3 – Up & Comers
At Agenda, it’s not all about those on top.
The unique thing about Agenda is that it gives up-and-coming brands a platform to showcase their collections along the same playing field as household names. This gives them an opportunity to share their stories and expand their audiences can be huge for these brands.
I’ll be sure to check out brands that are on the rise. Who knows, I might just become fans of a brand that I never knew existed.
4 – The Sneakers
Streetwear without Sneakers is like peanut butter without jelly or Diddy without Ma$e, it just doesn’t vibe the same.
Not only can one check out all the street fashion one can handle at Agenda but also some of the freshest new sneakers. New kicks from some of today’s top sneaker designers and companies will be within hands reach.
A chance to preview new footwear before the rest of the sneaker community lays their eyes on them is a sneakerhead’s dream come to life.
5 – The Panels
The Agenda Show is an incredible forum to unite industry insiders and admirers alike. In the past, industry icons such as Ronnie Fieg, Jeff Staple, and Jaden Smith have all participated in panel discussions. There will be panels with various topics ranging from new products and marketing ideas to sharing style inspirations and business aspirations. These panels are a great way to sit with your peers and have your questions answered with heavy hitters in the fashion and entertainment industry.
Potentially walking away with gems that very well might change how you approach not just your career but your life is worth the price of admission alone.
6 – One-On-One
If you are someone like me with dreams of creating a lifestyle street brand that is mentioned in the same breath as the greats like Stussy, Ralph Lauren, and Supreme what better place to gain some insight on what it takes to become legendary.
Agenda presents visitors with the opportunity to speak one on one with fashion business executives, designers, and entrepreneur on how to start a career in fashion. These are people who have been in our shoes.
For a person who has ambitions to be the next Jerry Lorenzo, Virgil Abloh, or the create the next Nike, there is no better venue than Agenda to gain answers to our questions, get valuable insight, and be motivated to continue to go after our dreams.
There you have it, the 6 things I’m most looking forward to at the Agenda Show 2019.
If you’ve attended Agenda before or if you’re like me and this will be your first time going, drop a comment below and let me know your thoughts on this event.
Stay tuned for a recap of my Agenda experience coming soon.
